Hey IndieHacker community!
Today, I want to delve into the fascinating world of SEO and share with you how it has become a critical component in not only my clients' businesses but also my own. I'll discuss the lasting impact of SEO-friendly structures and the ever-growing impressions and clicks they can generate.
The projects I've had the pleasure of working on have been substantially enhanced by adopting an SEO-focused approach. By optimizing for both Google and Bing, these businesses have experienced impressive results in terms of impressions and clicks. And the best part? These benefits don't fade away!
Months after securing a solid ranking on Google, the progress continues undeterred. It's a remarkable phenomenon that keeps on giving. This made me realize that websites, much like fruit, only get better with time - especially when it comes to SEO. The longer they ripen, the more delectable they become. πππ
Therefore, I can confidently assert that SEO is a must-have for any business. A well-executed SEO strategy can propel your business forward, creating a long-lasting and fruitful online presence.
Now, I'd like to open the floor for discussion. Do you have a successful SEO story, and are there other elements that you believe are essential for successful marketing? Let's share our thoughts and experiences, helping each other grow in this ever-evolving digital landscape.
Your thoughts are valuable, and I look forward to reading your insights! π
I just posted about inbound marketing as a growth engine. Of course, SEO is part of any successful inbound strategy. Gaining organic interest is a cost-effective way to draw prospects to your website.
Getting that organic traffic requires creating content that is valuable and discoverable. But beyond that, to make all your efforts worthwhile, the content must be relevant to your ideal customer.
For example, I wrote a piece about building customer personas that performed well because it answered a frequently asked question. Great! The not so great part was that people were asking that question to find the answer to a HubSpot certification test. Cool that my client could help people but those test takers weren't our target market.
Technical SEO is all good. But when you get into on-page SEO you have to make sure you're optimized for search to be found by the right people.
