Server Development

Through my journey of game development, my team and I have realized we are in need of a server for one of our games, however none of us know how to create a game server.

The hardware has been bought and we have tried, but we are not getting anywhere. This is from my partner for more information about whats been done:

I bought a server, and I have installed Ubuntu Server 20.04 lts. I have LAMP (Linux, Apache, MySQL, PHP/Perl/Python) installed. And I am new to this so I could use the instruction lol.
