What's something valuable that you've read, learned, or discovered recently that you want to pass on to other indie hackers?

I've learned to put what I call my Ugly Functional Prototypes (UFP) out into the world. Below what an MVP might be. I do that so I continue working on them. To make them better. To get feedback. To grow. It makes me more accountable. Not hiding my creations until they're ready.
I've got too many ideas to spend time on thinking of what stack I should use for a project (it doesn't matter in the beginning for an UFP) or having the perfect landing page, logo, email list, etc. I aim to make stuff. So that's what I do. Eventually with more focus on bringing in money from them, but one thing at a time...
A bit late to the game, but I learned yesterday that - at least in The Netherlands - you do not have to be a student to become a member of the local University Library.
It has been a long time since I was a student there, but now I do have a membership card of the University library again. Very happy with that.
I learn where to put the buttons in the forms thank you this post:

etc!
Highly recommended!
I feel like I've been researching/reverse engineering high volume newsletters for most of this year. It's a slow process because I basically run one experiment every 30 days. I've gone through a couple of IP addresses and am now on my 3rd strategy.
1: just hit send (this should work up to maybe 10-20k subscribers)
2: segment by engagement and throttle by hour (better)
3: segment by engagement and throttle by hour/day (warm up the IP)
I send a fair bit of transactional email, but the volume is too low to keep my IP address warm enough to send out a monthly newsletter of 50k+.
Recursive businesses have a marketing edge because the places their founders naturally hang out are also customer watering holes:
