Growing the subscriber count at https://www.workspaces.xyz/

Currently 10,000+ and hoping to get it to 25,000 this year.

What it is: A collection of WFH workspaces from the creative community. Sent as a newsletter 2x per week.

    1. 2

      Looks cool subscribed!

      1. 1

        Thank you! ๐Ÿ™Œ

    2. 2

Subbed! I like how it's only 2 days per week

Would def not want this to be a daily newsletter lol

      1. 1

        Appreciate it!

And yeah... I will sometimes post more than 2 spaces per week to the actual site because my backlog is now 100+ spaces but I never send more than 2 emails.

When posting additional spaces to the site I include them in a short ICYMI section of the newsletter with direct links to the post. Helps with the backlog and also increases click rate in the newsletter itself.

    3. 2

Very cool man. Most code bloggers on IG usually use each post to show different angles of their workspace with the written content being a form of a journal. I've seen some incredible workspaces on there in high resolution that gave me the inspiration to improve my own. It's cool to see a site dedicated to just workspaces though.

    4. 2

Cool idea! How are you monetizing?

      1. 2

I was doing sponsorships in the newsletter and making $2,000/month doing that. I actually did an AMA here about it:

        https://www.indiehackers.com/post/my-newsletter-is-making-2-000-per-month-with-6-500-subscribers-ama-d4875ae489

However, the newsletter was actually acquired in June '22 and I joined the team as their Head of Content to continue publishing the newsletter. That move allowed us to put a pause on sponsorships for now and focus on growing the newsletter.

    5. 2

oooo I like this a lot

    6. 2

Cool idea! How do you grow your subscriber count?

      1. 1

Pretty much all through Twitter as of right now!

When I feature a guest, I also share it on Twitter and tag them. Since it's their workspace 99% of them reshare it in some way. Some even add the link to their personal site as well :)

    7. 1

Although I am not sure why this page exists, I found myself uncontrollably scrolling for ages lol

      1. 1

        why shouldn't/wouldn't it exist?

everyone needs some workspace inspo lol

  2. 4

      Very creative!

  3. 4

Absolutely! We're working on an AI-powered SQL query generator
that helps data analysts and developers generate SQL queries for their specific use case with ease, without the need for manual coding. Our value proposition is to automate the SQL query generation process and make data analysis more efficient. Let us know what you think!

    1. 1

That's cool! Especially for users like me that do not use SQL so often. Is the software still on development or already released?

      1. 1

        Thanks for the interest! AI2sql
is already released and available for use. Feel free to check it out and let us know what you think!

www.motorworxmarket.com is currently in the MVP build stage. (only landing page)

It aims to collaborate high end car owners, with trusted professionals rated by other users.

Customers can post their job for free, then manage the job through their phone, wherever they are.

    Hey ๐Ÿ‘‹

I'm Amos and I'm building MentionFunnel, which is a social listening tool that will help you easily find leads on Reddit, Twitter and Hacker News ๐Ÿ˜Ž

I'm building it because I needed something like it myself and all the other tools were either too expensive or didn't have the features I wanted. I think finding your first customers is also something we all struggle with, so wanted to help with that. Also, building in public seemed like a lot of fun, so I wanted to try that out as well.

Currently have 2 paying customers after launching at the beginning of December and nearly 200 users.

Struggling with how to properly market it, as my strategy so far has just been posting on Reddit, Twitter and IH. I'm also thinking about changing the pricing, as the free tier is probably a bit too generous ๐Ÿ˜…

  7. 2

Hey, we're working on adding more features to our product ruttl, it's a quick feedback collection tool that allows you to comment on live websites, web apps, PDFs and images. You don't need to send screenshots or emails to your teammates or clients while working on a project with our tool.

We recently also added a bug tracking feature to make the feedback and collaboration process even more efficient.

  8. 2

    Hey! I'm building Sidekick.

Blocks distracting sites and applications during focus sessions and Pomodoro sessions. It's perfect for people who are serious about deep work, have trouble with procrastination or have difficulty with online habits.

If that sounds like you, please check Sidekick out! :)

  9. 2

    Working on https://www.userinsights.ai/.

make the right product decisions by using AI to summarize, classify, and deep dive open-ended user feedback rather than spending hours reading each individual comment.

Ideal customer is someone who, like me in my day job, cares a lot about user feedback and spends a significant amount of time reading through comments. I have several data sources that I read hundreds to thousands of comments from each month. It's a valuable exercise but very time consuming and the goal is to streamline it!

  10. 2

Hi! I'm a solo mobile app developer and my current project is an app (ffaroh on iOS or Android) for solo travelers. My tasks for the next months will be gaining users and bug fixing.

Currently the app is free for everybody but I plan to monetize the app in this year to fill the gap to the operational expenses!

  11. 2

Hi! We are a CTO / tech co-founder for tech startups with a focus on AI. We are currently also working on a project of our own. We want to make diversity & inclusion within organisations measurable, so that D&I policies can be evaluated and optimized based on data.

  12. 1

We have built shakebug.com, a tool that takes bug tracking to the next level, improving bug reporting and enhancing productivity by up to 40%. Our primary target audience consists of SAAS CTOs, developers, engineers, QA testers, and project managers.

Nevertheless, we have also received interest from enterprise clients and have the necessary resources to meet their bug tracking needs.

Hello everyone. Our company, OpenMetal (https://openmetal.io/) just rolled out officially this month. We offer On-Demand Private Clouds (built on OpenStack) that can be deployed in 45 seconds. We are an open source-focused company that saw a need to simplify access to OpenStack for all. Therefore, we developed a solution that lets you purchase and quickly deploy a Private Cloud on OpenStack. Each cloud includes 3 servers that you control, but do not have to mange. It is still a cloud. It is just a Private Cloud that you can spin up or down as easily as public cloud options. We are excited to share this with open source tribe members this year and help grow the OpenStack user base.

Building an open-source customer configuration platform https://github.com/enrolla/enrolla

I'm working on continually improving https://digimmerce.com which I launched late of December '22.
Q1 and Q2 '23 road map includes, registration with social accounts, more partner integrations(etsy, payment gateways, shipping fulfillments), more premade templates..

My ICP is an individual or small business that is selling online in a marketplace, most probably Etsy looking at the demographics, and wants to launch their own website to create their own identity and avoid paying Etsy their high fees.
You can have 0 tech knowledge and still succeed in Digimmerce cause that's the kind of customer it was created for.

I'm working on a chrome extension that saves Linkedin posts to notion. What do you think?

  20. 1

Last year, I was like a machine building and releasing projects left and right, after years of taking it easy. And you know what? I realized that I'd built a habit! This year, I thought it would be pretty cool to create an app to help others form habits too. I mean, why not add one more to the list? If you're curious about my journey, give me a follow on Twitter! @zakokor

Working on Engage AI for LinkedIn users to generate insightful comments and engage their prospects in seconds.

Launched on Christmas eve in 2022 and we have over 1.5k users now.

    1. 1

This looks interesting, but I thought social sites are cracking down on AI responses? How do you tackle that?

      1. 1

I may have missed the news but I haven't read any of them. The way it looks to me, Engage AI will have the same love/hate like Jasper.ai. Those who love it, swear with their love. Those who hate it, swear with their hate.

Like Jasper.ai, we are not replacing human or remove authencity. We're supporting the human and especially those introverts who are afraid in making silly comments.

How would you use Engage AI?
