I showed a friend of mine my work-in-progress dating app for readers, and he told me that the color scheme of the app reminded him of the vomit he produced after a night of binging on cheap wine. 🫠 Ouch! But at least I can change the color scheme!

I have an Android app on Play Store that allows people to write guitar tabs and record the audio. It has 50k+ downloads and ~5k active users. There have been a lot of bad reviews throughout the years, but one day, there was a review that made me feel bad: "It's much simpler to use pen and paper."

I almost replied to the review asking the person to record the audio using pen and paper, but I just let it go.

Had a demo with this person.

    1. Talk so much in suggesting things. Rocket science features.
    2. Never registered the app after.

I spent almost a year working on a project at my last job. The day came to present it to the muckity-mucks. I was extremely nervous because this was still early in my career. Our meeting was the first of the day at 8am. At one point, I was working on a whiteboard for a minute or two with my back turned to my audience. I turned back around to see that not one but two (!!) of the execs watching the presentation were nodding off in their chairs!!! I couldn't believe it. I thought I must be the most boring speaker in the world! 🫠

I found out later that all of the execs had been out late the night before shmoozing and boozing, so perhaps their dozing wasn't due to any failure on my part, but before I found out about the extenuating circumstances, lemme tell you... I was mortified!
