Share Your Strange or Crazy Product Ideas
I'm always thinking of strange product ideas. One of my inspirations for these ideas is visiting random subreddits. Today I came across /r/UnethicalLifeProTips, and someone's tip was:
If you ever get a flat tire, take as many different pictures in various backgrounds as you can. These can be used be used to as excuse for missing/being late an event or work
So my product idea is ExcusePic. You search for pictures of cars with flat tires by the make, model, and year of your car, select a location on a map, the date/time of the flat tire, and the model of cell phone or camera you use, and it returns a picture of a car that matches your car with the EXIF data also modified with the location/date/phone information.
What strange or crazy product ideas do you have?
One day, back in 2010, I was thinking of coming up with a toy smarter than the Rubik Cube (ya know, just to mess with my brain). After a few hours it just happened -- not that I'm some genius, sometimes shit "just happens" -- that I came up with BilliChess (www.BilliChess.com). The STRANGE thing is that I don't play video games (other than Sudoku) and I wanted some physical toy like the Cube, but I ended up with a video game. The CRAZY thing: my game made it to the Winners' List of the international contest Level Up 2010 organized by Intel ..

Good idea, you could have it donate to charity for you.
Except, I don't want it to go to a good cause. I want it to go to the developer who doesn't deserve my money. That way it's painful if I have to pay up.
I guess I just don't want the thought "Well I slept in but at least I helped out starving children" I want to think "I can't believe I just lost $5 to this stupid app. I'm never sleeping in late again" haha
