Shipped, shared, and even made a profit for the first time!

Some advice keeps coming back in various forms. One of them is:

Ship as often as possible. It's good for your finishing muscle and feedback will help you grow.

Yesterday I shipped boutique.felixparadis.com, a store for my paintings (SOLD OUT!).

Of course, this is not a viable business; only friends made purchases and total profit is less than minimum wage overall (still not too bad for an artist, right?).

But, shipping something and sharing it felt super good.

For the past weeks, when people asked what I'm up to now that I don't have a job, I just mumbled that I'm doing "personal projects", "coding little things". Screw that! Talk about what you're up to, even if seems silly. #learnInPublic, too.

That's my milestone for now. Shipped and shared a ridiculous thing, which is much better than building a great product that never leaves localhost!

Congrats. Sounds like you need to raise your prices for next time :)

Great job. If you sold out, that means you are not charging enough. Raise the price and rock on.
