🚧 Shipping a simple landing page? Not so simple.

Hey Indie Hackers just wanted to share a small roadblock I hit today while trying to launch my landing page for Pinggle.app, my new SaaS project for Airbnb host cleaning coordination.

I thought:

“Just build the page, connect Paddle, and ship it.”
Turns out… not quite.

Paddle rejected my domain because I didn’t have SSL set up (HTTPS).
They said the site looked offline or insecure — which makes sense, but I didn’t expect the approval to fail just for that.

đź’ˇ What I learned:

âś… Always check that your domain has SSL before submitting it to a payment provider.
🔄 Getting a rejection isn’t a failure — it’s just another step in the shipping process.
🧠 Even “one-page launches” involve ops work you didn’t plan for.

🔧 Next steps:

  • Set up SSL (Let’s Encrypt via Framer or Cloudflare)
  • Re-submit to Paddle
  • Keep documenting the launch in public (build logs, fails included)
