Hi Indie Hackers
I've got a list of ideas (after reading trends.vc, and make book) and I want to ship 1 product per month (ideally) with nocode or with code. I need an accountability group. I was thinking about these groups:
Be on Deck and Day One seems to be for founders who are focused on single idea and want to get VC capital for growth, not bootstrappers.
What is your opinion? Do you know any other great communities? Thanks
There's also MicroConf Connect, which is free. They have a $200 option to join a 5-ish person mastermind group.
My company www.atomixlogistics.com partners with accelerators and incubators (like Target Accelerator Program) and is a part of other niche vc founder slack groups. PM and can make intros!
For an ecommerce business, The most important thing is the High-Value Fulfillment services. And the mintfulfill.com is very good in it. It will eventually make our customers happy.
I'm biased but I created The YRC BOOTCAMP for this purpose.
It goes a bit further than just shipping but the gist is this:
I run a 30-day live bootcamp where I help professionals make a living off their expertise.
At the end of the program, you’ll have:
A bigger audience of people who trust you and want to buy from you
An info product (eBook or Video) based on your area of expertise you can sell so you don’t have to trade your time for money.
There are 4 live session over Zoom where we go over positioning, copywriting, qualitative market research, and more.
And each of the 30 days, you'll be publishing content and pitching leads.
We start with a simple product like an eBook because it's easy to sell and easy to create. If you notice that there's a market, you can upgrade it to something fancier (like a software product) later.
Enrollment for the December cohort is open: https://younglingresearch.gumroad.com/l/yrcbootcamp
are there any results of your students?
I'm in the process of getting the testimonials from the students in the cohort but there's some social proof on the lading page at the bottom right now. Also, you're welcome to come join a live session and then have a talk with the students yourself.
As for specific results, I got students who've been able to make their first sale using the process I teach as well as students who came in doing 6 or even 7 figures who were able to do more because of my program. (These students are typically engineers.)
We have Micro SaaS HQ but we don't have an accountability group yet. Having said that, we still have a closed community.
