Shortcut to getting verified on Twitter?

Hey all. I have been trying to verify our Twitter account. So far, our first request got rejected, and the most recent one is in review for almost one month. We have been covered in media multiple times in the past months, so that shouldn't be a problem. We also own the trademark.

I noticed that our competitors who have much smaller follower bases got verified. Is there some shortcut to getting it? I have heard that getting a Twitter ads partner can help, but I'm not sure how that works.
