Should I be launching anywhere else besides PH?
PH has a huge community now. Which might mean that any other community is a subset of PH.
So if I launch on PH, does that cover everyone I can reach out to anyways?

Definitely no, you don't reach everyone.
PH is big, but basically PH is only good, if your market are early adopters and tech savvy people. In Reddit alone there are a lot of subreddits that cover your topic.

But, you definitely shouldn't just focus on PH. If you get into the top 3 at PH, you will create a wave from PH. But you can't do that every time.
There's a saying in germany: "Lege nicht alle Eier in einen Korb." ... it means, don't put all your eggs in one basket ;-)

yep. last update was 4 days ago. I use the list (and app) myself, so i keep it quite up to date.
I've found a lot of value in sharing my product through communities like Reddit & Facebook groups.
Always important to be an active member of the community in advance so you can provide some form of initial value.
Can you name the Facebook groups you publish to?
It really depends on the product and FB group topic, I know, but would be good to look into anyways!
My product serves digital marketer, so I've found the social media geek out group and the Facebook ad buyers groups to be effective.
The vast majority of people are not regular Product Hunt readers. It’s great to launch on PH but that should just be one many launches you do as you keep improving your product. You’ve got HN, Twitter, forums and mailing lists in your industry, IH of course, meetups, etc. As always it depends on your product. Do as many launches as you can with each one oriented towards the community you are sharing with.
