Should I be worried about the projects success while development?

Hey Everyone! I'm Ahmed 16 year old from Karachi. I'm currently building an ai co pilot chrome extension. So basically you can just add chrome extension and setup account then simply whenever you need it you can just call the co pilot by name and give commands like you can ask to compose email and generate the text in email and send it to recipient without even opening new tab or gmail, and You can ask to play music or create or generate google docs, Or post a tweet from your account. All things will be done just by voice commands. You can also ask general questions just like chatgpt. But whenever I'm making any project I get anxious that will people use it or not or will it be a hit or flop. these type of thoughts always hold me back. What are your guys opinion on my project?

Valuable effort creating an AI copilot chrome extension Ahmed - uncertainty is expected when building new products, stay focused on solving user needs and learning through iterations.

    Wishing you the best!

Hey Ahmed, it sounds like your project is super cool! Don't worry too much about the success, the best thing you can do is just keep on creating and see where it takes you. Good luck!

I was anxious all the time when building my first SaaS company, which ended up getting acquired. So being anxious shouldn't have to be a predictor of the viability of your project.

For me, being anxious and self-aware has actually been one of the greatest drivers of growth.

It's normal to get anxious especially if this is your first time building something. But don't assume people will simple come in and pay for the product. While building the product is one aspect, there are other aspects also that you should consider like marketing, sales, SEO, BuildingInPublic etc.

The simplest way would be to allocate 50% of time in marketing and 50% time in building the product and take both in parallel. That way you can assess the vibe and take actions based on that.

I completely understand the marketing aspect and for that i have amazing people my friends are all marketing people they will take care of it. I'm more of a technical guy. the main thing is that I am always concerned that will people use my product, will it make sense.
