Hey y'all,
I'm working on creating an online shop with Notion but I wanted to get feedback from others who are using Notion for their online stores/business.
-Have you seen slow performance when loading all of the content?
-Is it really any more customer friendly than a traditional website like on Wix?
The site will consist of a large gallery view which is treated like a blog where each page has a few images, text, and links.
Any feedback would be greatly appreciated!
Hey Jospeh — I use super.so static (beta feature) which loads Notion website fast on custom domain. Customer "friendliness" is subjective. I do think Notion websites are clean and straightforward to interact with.
Nice! I was playing around with fruition but super.so sounds like it may be able to do more. thanks!
Out of curiosity, what do you hope to get out of building the front-end in Notion that you wouldn't get from Wix or Wordpress?
I already have a lot of this info in Notion and it just seems like it would be easier to just make the page public and share it as a site. It would also be an option to not have to pay the yearly price for Wix or Wordpress (not that I entirely mind it but the less I can spend for an experimental project the better).
