should i focus on building my side projects or get a job while building

Hello IH, I need an advice from you, I'm a 23yr old college student in my final year I have been learning web development for 5months now (nodejs, React) I want to be an entrepreneur and build web projects that I can monetise, I have started building one, but I'm confused because I need money I sometimes think of focusing on getting a software developer job or freelance job ( I still don't know if I'm good enough for this) and I also think of focusing on building my side projects, what advice would you give someone in my position

I would recommend getting a job, gaining some work experience. Get aquainted with the industry. If you are just getting started, this will give you money to pay the bills and you will learn new things that you will be able to use later when building your side projects. Working full time at the job (freelancing, etc...) still means that you have at least 2 good hours per day and entire weekend which you can spend building your side projects.
Building profitable side project is hard, it will take some time.
Personally, I am on a similar route as defined above and I have been trying to make my first dollar by selling online software product for the last 2-3 years. However, my main source of income is still my contracting jobs.
