Should I incorporate?

Hello folks,

Just embarked on my indie journey, and have to say that the IndieHackers podcast and this community (where I have been lurking) has been the most significant inspiration. So, on to my question:

I am working on two projects: (1) a fairly simple game (mobile app) aimed at the upcoming FIFA world cup (that I am doing solo), (2) a more thought-through idea (where I have a co-founder working with me). For the second project, we will incorporate prior to launch.

For the fist one (a simple-ish mobile app game), where I am running it solo, do you think I should incorporate? I do have a brand logo and branding designed and will have a website (landing page). But a friend told me that it's always good to incorporate to protect against legal hassles (it's unlikely, but could always happen I guess).

PS: (Not sure if this changes your opinion/response) I am based in Vancouver, Canada.
