Should I make my product public ASAP or wait till I'm more confident?

It's been almost 3 months since I started working on NotionCommerce part-time. I launched a landing page soon after I had the idea and so far I have 71 users who joined the waitlist. I'm not sure if it's a good or bad number.

Though my plan was to wait till I have at least 100+ emails and give private demos in the meantime before launching it to the public. But people don't seem to be much interested in private demos. Now I'm in this confusing state where I'm not sure if I should make it public now or wait to make the product polished.

So I would really appreciate your feedback to make the decision.

    Hey Arif,

Well, I could say "Just make it public already!", but would this really going to bring you more users?

Nowadays, the use of "demo previews" and "waitlists" are probably more saturated than ever, but I think this path should still work. It's either you haven't promoted enough to your target audience, or your landing page simply doesn't sell.

My opinion on this would be: don't polish the product itself (for now), but rather invest more time and money into your landing page. Hire a designer, add a video of the product in use, and etc. Make it more clear and appealing, so that potential clients/users would be more convinced to leave their emails on your waiting list. After that, try to promote it to your target audience and of course, observe their response, ask for the feedback, and etc.

    71 is a decent number.

Since the product concept is straight forward, I would suggest to go ahead and just make it public. Having said that, your landing page might need some improvements too.
