Should I niche-down? Best way to share landing pages?

I'm going to create a landing page for a web app I want to make--so I can validate it first. The idea comes from how everyone these days wants to buy some course to learn something. Imagine that in a smaller scale, where experts write articles--some free, some paid--and visitors can pay a small amount to read one article or a little bit more to subscribe to that writer's premium content. Writers have an incentive to write because they will get a cut of the subscription if their content is worthy and people can have a taste of each writer's validity based on their free content.

I know this isn't very niche, so maybe I should niche-down to some particular topic such as health? When I create a landing page, where are the best places to share it? I found Reddit hates a lot of self-promotional posts.

Sounds ambitious. Niching down comes with minimal to no risk when you are starting out. It makes it easier to start. No seeing any downside to it.

Plus, if this idea doesn't work for health... Would it work for some other topic?

    Good luck!

Thanks! And yes, I see a lot of marketers trying to either give away a PDF or sell a paid course. If they have a decent following of their social media content, a paid PDF subscription could be an untapped middle-ground for them.

    Niche helps.
I would recommend going to Niche. Medium is one space that has a similar Idea with a broad perspective. Health as your topic has wide acceptability.
I would recommend making your idea 10x better. Of course, not instantaneously but over a period of time after you launch your first MVP. Getting a lot of insights from your customers would be of great help.
We at Berlocks, have been working with several startups who come up with ideas that are trying to provide a better solution to an existing counterpart. We have always advised them to brainstorm their idea and make it at least 5x better.
I would suggest you post your website on IH, Product Hunt, and Facebook groups.
    All the best.
