Should I start a youtube channel?

Hi everyone,

Start the youtube channel documenting the process of startup and profitable company creation.

Do you think it is a fair reason to start a channel or does such kind of content have to be distributed through other platforms?

Topics that I can cover:

  1. One army developer.
  2. Where to find the money for the prototype.
  3. How to stay motivated in the long run.
  4. Why did I even start to think about quitting my 9-5.
  5. How to be consistent for years.
  6. Work in immigration.
  7. Actual step I perform towards the product, that I want to build.

All the best
Good luck

It is obvious that you have to promote your work in order to get viewers and subscribers. Unless the content is extremely engaging and you have luck to be randomly seen ( which is not happening often because the algorithm shows mostly already popular videos, or from popular channels ), you need to promote your videos so you can establish a viewer base.

You can pay youtube to promote your first video, to create a subscription base ( trough Google Ads ). Your can promote your youtube channel or videos on other websites, for free if you already have followers there, or trough paid advertising. You can promote your channel on other websites. You can ask your friends/peers/family to subscribe to the channel and like the videos.

Like any other thing, the start-up is the most difficult part. But if you put in consistent work, you can get where you want. If you wait for people to randomly get to your videos, you will have a long waiting time.

Hi @faptebune, thank you for the promotion point, I wasn't thinking to use the tool in the way that it would help me back.

Regarding the "randomly get to your videos", I was thinking that the search results would show the relevant content based on the search request, afaik that it would be a long list of videos, however, if I release a video which title would be equal to the search request, it will be in that list despite the fact if it is popular or not. I will read about that process.

      Thank you!

If there is something that many people will search for, there are already dozens of videos that have the keyword searched in title. The popularity of the channel/video will determine the position your video will be in. So if you are having few views/subscribers, your video will be at the bottom of that list. If the searched quote is long, or something very specific, where only your video will fit, it is probably a way less searched term. Think about google ranking algorithm. More, youtube algorithm emphasis the channels you are subscribed or you watched videos from before.

You need to build some audience in order to make your videos rank higher and being shown in more search results, or shown as related vireos.

My friend, why don't you start on Tik Tok? Faster to fame, much smoother, and you can also generate income, when you build a popularity base on Tik Tok, you can work on the rest of the platforms and refer followers to them and so on ...
