Hey fellow makers,
I have had this idea in mind for quite a long time and would like to see if anyone is interested.
Imagine that I will provide you with a report every week/month showing how your competitors are doing using data from various sources. You would get an easy-to-follow report with highlighted points to consider.
Example:
-monitor if there are hikes in your competitor search results
Monitor what ads your competitors do, what products they promote
monitor employee counts, what job offers are open to see where they plan to invest, who they lack
monitor what employees and customers say
get some insights from the reviews (isn't it best to learn from other mistakes?)
basic audit of search volumes, rankings, domain ratings, etc...
Connect various data sources to get a comprehensive picture in time.
The best part is monitoring it in the long run to understand its strategy.
What do you think? Is it a valid idea?
This could be interesting. I used to work at a company that tracked competitors product price changes so businesses could make their prices competitive. The SEO tracking aspect would especially be useful.
Thanks!
I think it can go deeper than just price monitoring, but I would need to find a client with whom I might try it :))
