Hi all, hope everyone had a nice weekend. I've spent a fair amount of money (relative of course, but it's a non-trivial number) and a huge amount of time to build what was originally supposed to be an MVP, filmpatico.com. I hired several different freelance coders and had to re-do several features because of language barriers, bugs that emerged later down the road, as well as updates to the WordPress theme and plugins I'm using. In a nutshell - it's a job board, networking, and project management platform for student and independent filmmakers and actors.
I haven't really put in any work on my site in a while, mainly because I hesitate to try to gather testers when it's working slowly and bugs keep popping up. Anyway, since I went way beyond the normal boundaries and purpose of an MVP, I'm wondering what you guys think about just starting over with a bare bones NoCode platform. Some potential competitors have emerged since I first began building my site 2-3 years ago, so I was also thinking that it might make it easier to pivot to a different niche and target demographic.
I have virtually no experience with NoCode so I'm hoping someone who does may be able to help me decide my next step. Thank you!
It's a good concept and common. However I think the user interface looks like from 20 years ago.
There're some interesting solution to help you setup a job board without code and their UI is way advance. Try Softr, Pory and Spreadsimple
I would suggest you to not waste your time/money on building such things anymore.
There are already existing solutions for custom job boards working as a SaaS. Just create an account there and you are good - because many SaaSes have a free/trial tier.
Good luck.
Thanks - when you say create an account, are you talking about a specific company that sells pre-made SaaS themes or customizable templates with widgets and such?
No, I'm talking about SaaS that you can use to create a full-functional job board. For example:
https://www.jobboard.io/
https://www.smartjobboard.com/
https://niceboard.co/
etc see more here https://www.capterra.com/job-board-software/
Maybe not all examples are relevant to your requirements but I hope you've got the idea. Let me know if something is not clear. Cheers.
Oh I got it thanks! Sorry, just saw your response.
No worries, good luck.
