Should I use blog.mydomain.com or mydomain.com/blog?
You guys notice any significance impacts on SEO/business/user experience with these 2 options?
- blog.mydomain.com : provide flexibility with deployment and blog service
- mydomain.com/blog : good user experience stay in the same url
mydomain.com/blog is better for SEO purposes because blog.mydomain.com is a different domain for Google....
Super interested to see how the SEO people answer this. From a technical perspective it's trivial to route your traffic from /blog to anywhere you need via your favorite CDN.
domain.com/blog/ unless you have a very specific reason for doing otherwise.
