Should we hire an HR person?

We're a bootstrapped SaaS and are planning to grow our team from 20 to 30 people in the next 6-12 months, so we were wondering would it help to hire an HR person first?

A person that could help with hiring, onboarding, check-ins and making sure the current and new team members are feeling satisfied. Does anyone has any experience with this that they could share?
