During the early stages of product development, you would be refining your understanding of the market (whom are you solving for, what are you solving for them, how are you solving), and focusing on speed is recommended. Shipping your products to your customers will enable you to learn and address customer feedback.

Once you have a good understanding of your target market, focus on quality. Making the right technical architecture choices early on will enable you to iterate your product and ship high quality products that can scale.
