I have travel plans to San Francisco and Bay Area. I will arrive on 9th October and I have about a week with me. I run a product development firm based out of Delhi, India. We have previously worked for valley based (and generally US based) clients and are currently looking to expand our client base.
Looking to meet design and developer agencies on my trip.
Our expertise is web and we have a crystal clear focus on the same. We deal only with python, javascript and serverless technologies. We say no to projects that are not under this category. Hence we are good at what we do, the team is composed of product engineers who have built for numerous startups before. Some of these startups have either been acquired or gone ahead to raise capital from VC.
We are looking to form partnerships with Design and Dev shops based out of Silicon Valley, as a result of this partnership the agencies would be able to service more clients.
We follow TDD, CI/CD and all other modern software best practices.
PS: If you are reading this and can point me to an agency you think I should talk to please do comment!
If you're in town for a Wednesday, you should check out the weekly SF Python meetup (https://www.meetup.com/sfpython/). A number of dev shop employees go to those, I believe.
I hope you don't mind me asking you a question: As a python-focused development firm, do you ever maintain packages for your clients and if so, how do you distribute those packages to them? I run https://pydist.com, and I have a couple of development firm customers who use it to distribute packages to their clients, so I'm trying to explore this niche.
We do maintain packages but they are on our own internal repositories at the moment. Will check out pydist!
