Hi, Indie Hackers!
I built a platform that lets you browse and search a curated collection of ~1,500 free high-quality web illustrations, including DrawKit, the ManyPixels gallery, the Delesign collection, Humaaans and Icons8 Ouch!
All illustrations are free for commercial and personal use.
Check it out at https://freewebillustrations.com/
Some more details about the project at https://freewebillustrations.com/about/
There are still a lot of things to do but I though I'd share this with you since some of you might find it useful.
I'd be happy to hear what you think. If there are any features you would like to see, definitely let me know! Huge thanks to @jamesdaly for creating DrawKit and @Vinrob for letting me include the ManyPixels gallery!

Thank you for featuring us, much appreciated!
Thank you, the ManyPixels illustrations are awesome!
If you know any lesser-known illustrations that meet the quality standards and are completely free, please share them as well!
Did you ask permission to the authors to include all your sources of illustration?
Good question, thanks for asking!
Yes, I reached out to the owners of the illustrations to make sure they approve my work (and make sure I don't violate and policies). I am still waiting for two replies but these projects have licenses that are very permissive. Nevertheless, if any of these two projects would not want me to index their illustrations, I will remove them before launching officially. Indexing anything against the author's will would not only be morally questionable but also detrimental to the plan of expanding the database in the future.
One other important thing I did not mention in the original post is that all download buttons always link back to the original authors' websites. There is no way to download the illustrations without going to the original projects. And there are additional links to the participating projects all over the website.
Having a sophisticated search engine that gives easy unified access to all platforms is something that should ultimately be beneficial to both end users and the authors of the illustrations.
I understand what you are trying to accomplish, I asked mainly because of backlinks, but you have the permission, so there is no problem :D
Yup he did!
