Show IH: A dead-simple way to back up your Google Photos library

I realize that I never made note of this on IH, and figured I should share it now.

It’s something @Shelkie came up with last summer. He was nervous about having all of his photos with only one service (Google Photos) and the possibility of loss if something went wrong.

So, he put this together. It’s a pretty boring app for most users as it largely runs in the background. You just sign up and connect it to your Google Photos Library. Once you have, it takes creates a third-party backup of your library—just in case the unthinkable happens. The system also sends reports via email so you know the status of your backups.

I’m not sure if this is relevant for any of you. That said, I like seeing what you all are making, and figured it couldn’t hurt to show another one of our products. 🤙
