Hi all,
Last month I launched SpeakNotes, an AI-Powered voice notes app. SpeakNotes lets you record a voice note (or upload video/audio) and uses AI (OpenAI's Whisper & GPT-4) to transcribe and summarize it.
I wanted to create this after finding myself writing down a bunch of thoughts after meetings or when working on a project; I wanted something that would let me get my thoughts out as quick as possible and then make a concise summary which is precisely why I made SpeakNotes.
I have already got 3 paying users in my first month as well as a couple of emails from teachers/medical professionals telling me they're loving the app!
I built it for iOS & Android (can also be used on Silicon Macs). You can check out the landing page here @ speaknotes.io

Android App Store: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=dev.jacklillie.speak_notes
I'm always listening for feedback so if any of you guys decide to give it a go please let me know what you think.
That capture-first shape makes sense. What usually kills these apps isn’t the transcription itself, it’s whether the cleanup stays short enough that people actually keep using it. DictaFlow sits a bit lower in the stack, more live dictation than note summarizer, but the same rule applies: if the thought doesn’t get out fast, you lose half of it.
