Show IH: Building a Slack app with Airtable as the CMS (Tutorial)

David from Airtable here. As a non-technical guy, and former bootstrapper myself, I'm a huge fan of the IH community and wanted to share something with you guys.

We're kicking off an API tutorial series over here at Airtable. The goal is to enable anybody, technical or not, to build useful integrations/workflows/tools using the Airtable API.

For the first installment, I worked with an Airtable engineer to put together this tutorial for building a Slack slash command app that uses Airtable as the CMS. Take a look here:

By following this tutorial, you will be able to build an app that will query an Airtable base from Slack and pull the results back into a Slack channel. We built this with a CRM in mind, but you could use this with any Airtable base that you're interested in querying.
