Hey all-
Had some free time, and thought this would be a neat project. Its a platform for serialized stories, where authors can tell them chapter by chapter (and get paid).
Homepage:

Here is the signup link:

All the stripe plumbing is set up for testing so feel free to use this as a test card:

Still some bugs to work out but thought I could get some good feedback here.
Thanks all!
Dave
As a wanna be author (plenty of nanowrimo wins and a novella that's mostly finished), I'm intrigued. Here are a few thoughts.
That's it for now.
Thanks @DavidGetchel! I've added SSL. Maybe I'll add a separate FAQ page for the explanatory stuff (I kind of like the minimal homepage look). Re: the publish, I'm working on implementing autosave functionality so hopefully that will solve that problem. Let me know as more thoughts come to you!
Another thought, a way to use a pen name under your real account.
Very cool! It sounds like it could grow into a set of tools (analytics, mailing list integration, genre-based site themes, etc) for professional writers to deliver their stories to readers.
If that aligns with your vision, self-published authors with established audiences that they could bring over to Chapter could be a good initial target market.
@radek Yes! Spot on. Once its a bit more polished, I'm going to do some recruitment. Any ideas on where these people hang out? (I know of a few subreddits)
Lots of writers are on kboards I think:
https://www.kboards.com/
Then there are influential indie blogs/podcasts that (probably) do affiliate deals like The Creative Penn, Goins Writer, The Write Practice and many more.

Right now, I'm hoping to get the authors and hopefully, they bring their own audiences at first.
