    Or just use Microsoft Edge...

I wish it was that easy.
Since Edge is Chromium based they share the same engine.

While Edge is slightly better in terms of RAM consumption it still uses a fair bit of memory when there are many tabs open. E.g. 10-20+

      It's from 2021

Whay about Firefox? Chrome has turned into a bloated piece of software. I switched to Firefox 2 years ago and never looked back.

I used to do brower competitive analysis, particular on system resources/power management, but it's been awhile. I think Edge can suspend tabs and free up memory (I think default was 2hrs?).

Again, I am sorry if I am out of touch :)

        Good job though.

Yep, you are right. Edge - and Chrome for that matter - suspend tabs automatically at some point. Not sure on the timing though. 2 hours sounds reasonable, but afaik there is no way to control it. That's something I'm working on.

E.g. set timer yourself, be able to add tabs to a whitelist (to never be automatically suspended)
I put a few videos on the webpage what the extension can do besides saving RAM.

No worries mate :) I always appreciate feedback! Thanks for taking the time out of your day to comment.

Yes finally πŸŽ‰ I underastimated how long it would take to get the extension approved for first time publishers in the Chrome Web Store. Good learning
