Show IH: Delivering personalised sales/coaching copy

Hi folks,

In the last podcast episodes, both Brennan Dunn and Alex MacCaw talked about personalising their sales message based on visitor behaviour.

That was very interesting to me because I just built a similar mvp with a friend. The idea is to ask the customer some questions and then deliver a "5 step plan" based on his/her level and interests. We built an example site (www.digitaalstappenplan.be, warning: site in dutch) which illustrates the concept. The vision is to build this out further, taking other information into account (such as which articles the user reads on the blog) and make the site adaptive (currently we're only delivering the personalised plan).

The goal is of course to deliver the right information and message to the right customer at the right time. It's a plus for both customer (he learns about the right product when he needs it) and supplier (he gets a qualified lead).

Seeing we have the right audience here, it would be great get your advice on building this out into a more developed product? Would this be something any of you would use?

Thanks!

Woah, thanks for taking the time for such an in depth review thomasasm1964!

You're absolutely right, we have to improve the copy on the site!
I'll take your suggestions to heart. In fact, I've already started making changes (regarding point 3 and 4)
