Shortly after my mom died, I took all of her hand written recipes and turned them into a virtual cookbook. It is really just a cookbook, basically no features. I still use it for my own meal planning purposes, so I thought I would share.
I once thought there was a business in doing this for other families to help preserve history. However, I couldn't find a good enough OCR option so each recipe and ingredients list had to be re-typed into a json file by hand. This cost makes the business a losing proposition.
Any thoughts?
