Hi all! I just launched cc.dev, an email marketing platform that connects directly to your database and lets you target your audience using SQL.
The idea for this product came from trying to do email marketing for my side project CubeDesk, a site where Rubik's Cube enthusiasts can time themselves, race with one another, train algorithms — it's a fun niche!
With over 40k users, it was becoming very expensive to send even one campaign. And with a changing database schema, it was challenging to keep the audience details up-to-date in the platform I was using.
So, I started (and am now launching!) this product:
cc.dev connects directly to your database and lets you write SQL queries to target your audience. By using AWS SES to actually send the emails, the cost becomes significantly cheaper than what you're used to seeing.
With a template builder, media management, and campaign monitoring, cc.dev is meant to be your final destination whenever you need to email your users.
Honestly love the idea, Kash you’ve done it again!
Thank you! Been many months in the works, but I'm excited to put it out there
Congratulations on the launch! This looks really promising.
Thanks so much!
Where can I check the pricing before signing up?
Pricing is listed halfway down the landing page. It's $19/mo for 250k emails and $0.05/1,000 emails beyond that (this doesn't include AWS SES costs, which is $0.10/1,000 emails)
It’s always good to see a product that solves your own problem. The domain name is also great!
Thank you! Yeah, been searching for something like this for a while until I decided to build it myself. Cheers!

Free plan will be up soon! I've been thinking about the details of it before releasing it. Is this something you'd be interested in trying out if there was a free plan?

Good question, cc.dev is backed by AWS SES, so you'll need to create AWS credentials that have send access with SES. All the send reliability, bounces, complaints, etc. will be handled by SES. And you can see all of this on your AWS SES dashboard.
The pricing isn't a perfect science. I came up with it by looking at similar services and some basic math.
