Hi IH! It’s been a while. I used to hang out here a lot and plan to do so again, now that I started a new side project: https://Engineerfriendly.com.
A post on indie hackers lead me to start a project called Ok Bye, where we invited designers and engineers I met on indie hackers and Reddit to build web games with us in Bali. That was the start of quite a journey.
I’m now employed, it still feels weird to say that out loud, having been indie hacking for so long. The truth is, my job at https://hey welcome.com feels like being a founder, except it comes with a 6 figure salary and I get to focus on the fun parts only: building products people want, instead of sales, customer service, fund raising etc.
My co offers referral bonuses, which lead me to build https://Engineerfriendly.com over the last 3 weeks. Would you consider working at a startup where it’s ok to have side projects? Already work at a startup and looking to meet engineers to redeem that sweet referral bonus? Join me! All feedback welcome! 🙏
