Show IH: Eventbot - Group calendars for Slack teams
👋🏾 Hey IH folks ! After months of working on our product, we've finally launched our paid plan today ! I discovered Indie Hackers late last year and it's been an absolute joy to engage with other similarly minded founders.
📆What is Eventbot?
Eventbot is a simple calendar built for Slack teams, where * every channel is it’s own calendar * ! This is different from the other calendar bots for which chat is just an add-ons. With Eventbot you can create the event, share it, get reminders - all without having to leave Slack.
💸 Pricing
After lots of thought and research, we decided to go with a free tier and a paid tier @ $10/month flat fee. I'm writing an entire blog post on why we chose this, but the short story is that Slack teams are not yet accustomed to paying for bots (this is markedly different from traditional SaaS). Overall, we know we're underpricing our heavy users but we think we may re-capture some of that with a future tier of business features at a relevant price.
