Show IH: Guided Audio Journal with Mood and Keyphrase Analytics

Six months ago, I went full-time indie, but never released anything as the products just never felt good enough for my "debut".

To get out of this mindset, I decided to make an app for myself in a week, add monetization, release it and move on. The app idea was simple: Reflect on your day by answering the same four questions out loud. Answers are transcribed and help you spot patterns.

Although I'm new to Swift, I had all core features working within a day by simply modifying an existing example app. However, I was dissatisfied with iOS's built-in offline transcription and implemented Whisper.cpp instead.

This change lead to feature creep, and so I added mood analysis, three different keyword extraction methods to show trends, 22 languages and more.

As a result, it took over a month to release.
Would love to hear your feedback.
