Hi IH,
I just shipped Faze Marketing on the App Store and this community is basically my exact target customer.
The problem I kept hitting with my past apps: organic reach is dead, TikTok creator content is the best growth channel for consumer apps right now, but influencer agencies are built for funded companies. Most indie devs just don't market. Therefore, a lot of great apps die with no audience.
How Faze works:
It's that simple. And more importantly... Faze is completely FREE to use! No subscription at all.
Where I'm at: just launched a few weeks ago and first creators signed (235K follower TikTok food creator, 135K follower TikTok wellness creator, and more). Currently looking for some developers to post real campaigns.
If you've ever shipped an app, web app, and/or Saas product and wished more people saw it, that's who Faze is for. Even if you just want to tell me why this won't work, I'd genuinely love to hear it.
What caught my attention is the jump from "my apps struggled with distribution" to "access to creators was the missing piece."
Those feel connected, but there are a few assumptions sitting in between.
I'd be curious which of those assumptions you're most actively trying to validate right now.
Great question. The main assumption I'm validating right now is that indie devs will actually pay for creator content once they see it's accessible and affordable and not just say they want it. The secondary one is that creators are willing to apply to app campaigns specifically, rather than just sticking to physical products. Early signs on both are positive but still early days.
That's actually the part I'd be hesitant to assume yet.
Reading your reply, I found myself wondering whether the two assumptions you're validating depend on a third assumption that's already being treated as true.
I've got a few thoughts on that, but it's probably more than I'd try to unpack properly in a thread.
What's the best email to reach you on?
fazeappmarketing@gmail.com. Happy to chat more about it!
Sent over what I was getting at.
A bit more context on why I built this: I shipped 3 apps before Faze
and all of them struggled with the same thing — no distribution.
TikTok was the obvious answer but there was no clean way to access
creators without an agency. Happy to answer any questions about the
build or the business model.
