Hello Indie Hackers! 👋
I am a solo developer (self-taught) and I just shipped my latest side-project: Peekr.
🤔 The Concept It’s a mix between Poker and social deduction games (like Werewolf). Users post anonymous truths, and friends must bet points (Jokers) to guess the author. If you bluff well, you win the pot.
🛠️ The Tech Stack I wanted to challenge myself to build a "Native App" feel without using React Native or Flutter. Just pure Web technologies.
Front: React + Vite (Heavy use of Framer Motion for animations).
Back: Node.js / Express.
Real-time: Socket.io (Critical for the betting phase and chat).
DB: MongoDB.
🤯 The Challenge The hardest part was handling the WebSocket latency on mobile networks to keep the betting phase sync for everyone in the room.
🙏 I need your feedback Since I've been staring at my code for weeks, I need fresh eyes.
Does the mobile UX feel smooth enough?
Do you understand the betting mechanic immediately?

Thanks a lot for your help! (If you are a dev, let me know what you think of the architecture!)
