I built Next Chapter OS — a free tool for people navigating career transitions. It helps you define the directions you're considering, whether that's finding a new role, starting something of your own, picking up new skills, or exploring programs and fellowships. You set criteria for what actually matters to you, evaluate opportunities with AI, and track what's working week to week.
I built it for myself when I was stuck between multiple paths and couldn't find anything that helped me think strategically instead of just applying to everything.
Looking for beta testers who are currently in some kind of career transition. I want to know: does this actually help, what's confusing, and what's missing.

This is a real problem and I like that you built it from being stuck yourself.
One thing I'd watch closely is the "set criteria for what matters" step. People who are scattered enough to need this tool often can't articulate their criteria yet, because not knowing what matters is usually the whole reason they're stuck. So the step that powers everything downstream might also be the one where people stall or bounce.
I'd pay attention to how many testers actually finish that part versus drop off there, and whether the ones who push through needed a nudge or an example to get going.
This is a useful problem, especially because career transition is usually messy before it becomes tactical.
One thing I’d watch is whether beta testers see this as a “career planning tool” or as a way to make one hard decision feel less scattered.
That difference matters. If the product feels too broad, people may say it’s interesting but not use it when they’re actually stuck.
For beta, I’d focus less on “what’s missing?” and more on whether it helped someone choose, reject, or prioritize a real next step.
Happy to put a tighter beta-feedback angle in writing if useful. The main thing I’d map is how to test whether Next Chapter OS is creating decision clarity, not just collecting career inputs.
