Show IH: I built an AI contract analyzer for people who can't afford a lawyer

Hey IH,

I'm a 19-year-old law + CS student. I was about to sign a lease, couldn't understand half of it, and didn't want to pay €300 for a lawyer review. So I built ILoveMyContract.

You upload a contract PDF. The AI detects risky clauses, gives you a risk score, explains what to watch out for, and suggests alternative clauses you can use in negotiation.

Built for freelancers and individuals — not law firms.

Would love honest feedback from anyone who signs contracts regularly.

The founding story is solid — you built it because you personally hit the pain. One thing that helped us early: framing it not as 'AI contract analysis' but as 'catching the thing you'd regret missing before you sign.' The emotional framing converts better than the feature framing. Good luck with it.

this looks like a great product! lawyers can often be super expensive and not all people know what to look for in contracts.

The "can't afford a lawyer" positioning is exactly right. Solo founders and independent contractors are completely underserved here — we're signing platform agreements, client contracts, and vendor terms constantly with zero legal review.

I ran into this building Openbookings — had to write my own Terms of Service and Privacy Policy for a multi-tenant SaaS without any legal help. Would have loved something like this.

The suggested alternative clauses feature sounds like the most valuable part — that's the difference between knowing something is risky and actually being able to do something about it.

What's the most common dangerous clause you're seeing people miss?
