Show IH: I built an AI trading journal that scores discipline, not profit

Hey IH! đź‘‹

I've been trading stocks for a few years and kept running into the same problem: I'd have a solid strategy, but the moment the market dipped, I'd panic sell. Every time. Then the price would bounce back and I'd kick myself.

The problem wasn't my analysis — it was my discipline. And I realized most traders have the same issue.

So I built KeepRule (https://keeprule.com) — a trading journal where an AI scores your discipline, not just your P&L.

How it works:

  1. Record — Before each trade, log your thesis AND your emotional state
  2. Refine — Over time, your wins and losses become patterns. The app helps you extract personal trading rules (like "never risk more than 2%" or "don't trade on FOMO")
  3. AI Discipline Score — An AI reviews each trade and scores whether you followed your own rules

The insight is simple: if you consistently follow good rules, profits follow. But most tools only track the money, not the behavior.

I also added a knowledge base with principles from 28 legendary investors (Buffett, Munger, Graham, Lynch, etc.) so you can learn from the best.

Here's a short explainer video I made: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DXWyrXoNYxM

Tech stack: Nuxt 3 + Go-Zero backend, AI scoring via Claude API

Would love feedback from fellow founders. What would make this more useful for you?
