Show IH: I built an automated daily brief for Notion, Slack, and GitHub users

Hi Indie Hackers! 👋

I'm Sangkwon.

I built Daigest because I hate unnecessary rework.

Working in modern teams, I constantly found myself wasting time or doing work twice simply because I missed an update in a Slack thread or a Notion doc. The information was there, but it was scattered everywhere.

I realized this "Silo Effect" was killing productivity.

So, I built Daigest to fix it.

What it is: Daigest is an AI-powered automated daily brief that brings together updates from Notion, Slack, and GitHub.

How it helps:

  • No more digging: It tells you exactly who changed what in your docs and code.

  • Full Context: It links directly to the source, so you can see the full picture instantly.

  • Zero Effort: It lands in your inbox every morning. No manual reporting needed.

I’d love to hear your thoughts. Does this solve a problem you have?

Check it out here: Daiest

Thanks!

Honestly, I built this because I was tired of the 'tab-switching dance' every morning. lol

I'd open Notion, check Slack threads, then look at GitHub commits... just to figure out what happened yesterday. It felt like I was spending more time looking for work than actually working.

I'm curious—how do you guys handle daily catch-ups?
Do you still do manual standup meetings? 🕵️‍♀️
