Show IH: I built an "institutional-grade" WordPress system for Financial Advisors after seeing them lose high-value clients.

Hey everyone,

For the past few months, I've been deep in a project that started with a simple observation: a lot of incredibly smart, successful financial firms run their multi-million dollar businesses on top of insecure, slow, and generic WordPress sites. They're spending a fortune on ads to attract high-net-worth clients, only to send them to a digital front door that screams "amateur hour."

Leads were getting lost in email inboxes, workflows were manual and clunky, and the security was often an afterthought. It seemed like a huge, underserved gap in the market.

So, I decided to build a solution from the ground up: FinServe Pro.

It's a complete WordPress system (theme + plugin) designed specifically for the security and performance demands of the financial industry.

What's Under the Hood? (The Tech Stack & "Why")

I didn't want to just make another pretty theme. I wanted to build a piece of marketing infrastructure.

Backend: It's all built with a custom WordPress plugin. The core is an OOP-structured class that handles everything. The plugin creates a CPT for leads, so every single submission is saved securely on-site before it's sent anywhere else. This was a non-negotiable feature for audit and data integrity.

Form Handling: The lead form is handled via AJAX for a smooth UX. I built in a few layers of security: nonce verification to prevent CSRF, a honeypot field, and IP-based rate limiting to shut down simple spam bots. All input is sanitized before it touches the database.

The "Big" Feature - Integrations: This was the main value proposition. Instead of just a simple webhook (which is the fallback), I built out:

Native HubSpot Integration (via Private App Token).

Native Salesforce Integration using their full OAuth2 flow. This was a beast to build. It handles the redirect, the callback, securely storing the access/refresh tokens, and making the API call to create a new "Lead" object.

Commercialization: Since this is Indie Hackers, I figured you'd be interested in this part. I integrated a Gumroad license key API checker. Pro features (like the native CRM integrations) are feature-gated and disabled until a user activates a valid license key.

Why I'm launching this:

My goal is to provide a high-value, "business-in-a-box" solution for a niche that is often technically underserved but has a high willingness to pay for tools that solve real business problems (like automating client intake and mitigating risk).

The plan is to sell it on Gumroad and build out more "Pro" integrations over time.

I'd love to hear what the IH community thinks. Any feedback on the product, the positioning, or the tech stack is hugely appreciated.
