Show IH: I cloned Microsoft Project in one day
My friend works for an engineering firm (the real kind of engineering not software engineering lol) and I was talking to him about app ideas. He told me he often runs small projects at work.
He needs a Gantt chart scheduling tool for this but the projects are not big enough to warrant MS Project. He said he's always looking for a simple online project management utility like MS project but stripped way back.
Everything he has tried so far is too complicated or has onerous signup requirements. I was surprised by this as it is a very crowded space with lots of solutions.
