About four months ago, we released a free Google Analytics alternative for WordPress called Independent Analytics:
We're providing a solution that is much simpler than GA, while also being more insightful for WordPress sites. Since it's a WP plugin, it can provide richer detail alongside metrics like Views, and it runs entirely on their server, which is great for data privacy.
