[Show IH] Just launched live demo - would love your thoughts

I just launched the landing page and live demo of my current project - Sagedeck. It is an education/training development platform.
I built it because I needed to throw together some training material, but wasn't happy with current offerings. I dreamed of a platform that would let me "brain dump" lesson ideas, content, and media. Letting me easily rearrange and edit on the fly. So, to scratch my own itch I created Sagedeck.

Hello! Some copy advice/notes from a copywriter:
The two lines that make up your subhead are saying basically the same thing:
"Sagedeck makes it easy to share your skills and knowledge with the world.
Our platform simplifies creation, so you can focus on teaching."
Both of them talk about how easy the product is so you can easily just make it this: "Sagedeck makes it easy to share your skills and knowledge with the world so that you can focus on teaching."
Under "Create courses in minutes" you again talk about how it's quick and easy. Talk about how. You've already told them it's easy. Explain why.
Your last Feature also starts with a verb so you should frame your second feature starting with a verb as well for consistency. So instead of "Drag and drop editor" just write "drag and drop".
I think the concept is great but you need to tighten up your wording. There's a lot of repetition without more context. People want to understand why something is easy, they won't just trust that it's easy.
Your landing page should follow a sequence of questions readers ask every time they come to a web page:
"What is this?"
"What does it do?"
"What will it help me solve?"
"Have you helped others with this?"
"Why should I trust that this works?"
"Okay now that I trust you, what do I do next?"

I also went the live demo route with my app! I think it's a great way to show off what you've done! I even went as far as embedding it directly on the landing page. User clicks an image and it loads in an iframe.
My current demo data is more explanatory, but I'm trying to change it to show it "in action" instead - actual use cases applied. It's kind of difficult :)
As far as the app itself. It looks straightforward and easy to use. Not sure my app really hits that bar :)
I think it could provide value in multiple niches - obviously teachers (although they have privacy worries to overcome), but also anyone trying to teach a topic - bloggers, tutorial writers, etc.
If it's easy for you to theme, I'd try lighter colors, and maybe play around with spacing. But I'm no expert in UI, and having trouble with it as well.
The drag and drop is very convenient, but a little bit clunky. It lags a bit on my i5/8gb laptop, and it's a bit jarring when the card moves. I used a library called SortableJS - might want to try it out, but it won't solve all of the problems :)
A nice feature, if it doesn't already exist, would be to allow people to embed it in their own pages.
I like the embedded demo on the landing page idea. I'll have to check into the feasibility of that.
Thank you for your kind words on the app. Knowing that it's lagging on your system is good to know. The idea is that it's easy to use; lagging kinda defeats that purpose.
Interesting points about the UI. I actually had a friend say it looked a bit dated. It sounds like something I need to make some adjustments too. I appreciate the feedback, and if you have any other recommendations on this I'm all ears!
What niche to target is actually something I've stressed over a bit. I can see it in a lot of different areas, mainly: teachers putting lessons online, individuals doing tutorials (or your point on bloggers is interesting), companies needing an internal training tool, or companies needing an external - customer - training tool. I may do a follow up post when I'm further along and see what people here on IH think a good niche would be.
I'm debating doing a paid tier down the road, with added functionality. One of those features would be an embed option.
That's an interesting tool and something that I could see being useful to others. I would suggest adding a couple of real content decks as examples in addition to the live editor. Good work!
