Hello Indie Hackers 👋
I'm launching Indie Masterminds.
A mastermind program for bootstrapped founders, creators, makers.
The idea for mastermind groups first occurred to me when I started doing it with a friend 3 months ago.
Major benefits:
(I know I need it 😅)
Joining a paid group makes sense because:
People who are serious about their business self select into it.
Most "free" communities have become promotion zones, hard to find valuable interactions.
Keeps you accountable to take positive action. You have skin in the game.
I'm structuring them as small groups of 4 founders each.
This makes sure that everyone has their own "personal advisory board". More than 4 people can feel like a crowd, and less can feel like the group isn't diverse enough.
A mastermind group is a great tool for every stage of your entrepreneurship journey:
And it can work for most business models:
Groups will be formed based on their business model and entrepreneurship stage. All members will be just 1 step ahead or behind each other in their journey.
I think this is the best way to learn and grow together.
(Someone called it YC groups for bootstrapped founders 😅)
Also - no recurring costs.
Most free communities these days have become promotion zones.
And the recurring costs of paid communities start to add up very quickly.
So we need a middle path - To get the most value without getting burdened by the cost.
I think this is the solution.
For the July masterminds, 2 groups are already full (I launched last week on Twitter and got a great response there)
There is space for 1 more group (4 people)

Cheers,
Ayush 🙏
Congrats Ayush! All the best to the mastermind groups!
Thanks Greg, they are going alright so far 😅
