I think this is a great idea. I'm at a stage in building my MVP where I'm going to need a designer, but I don't want to commit to hiring just yet. So you've found a pain/need for sure.
One quick question - can you just send the design files, rather then host the website? I want to maintain the source code myself, so I'm just looking at the monthly design service.

Really interesting point on the 'design only' request. I'm positioning it as an all-in-one solution, so businesses can get the whole process of creating a site done for them.
In your scenario would you want to be starting from scratch, or would these be updates to an existing site?

Great idea and a well executed website. I might know someone that can benefit from it, will definitely share it!
Regarding feedback, I guess a "Portfolio" section, where you showcase some past designs (to show off quality and provide social proof) wouldn't hurt.
Also on that topic, maybe some quotes from happy clients, mentioning the pain they had and how your product solved it.

It looks good. I don't know exactly how but if anything I'd add a bit more design-wise so it looks a bit less 'sterile'.
Also with these kind of offerings I think it is crucial to have some example websites you created.
Other than that, it looks good enough to start. How do you plan to get customers in this saturated field (''web design'')?
Thanks @IndieWes – I wanted to get something up there quickly to generate interest, but agree the top section in particular could use some more depth! And I'm working on the portfolio section 😀
Custom acquisition wise – I'm thinking a lot of one-to-one outreach, and talking to people in the right communities/business groups. I'm also going to experiment with Facebook ads.
Any tips?
Only that you make sure to do those FB ads right, I think it's an easy way to burn through hundreds of dollars.
Hey Mike! This is super clear and reminds me a little bit of my own business (albeit we only do design and not fully-fledged websites).
To answer your questions: Your website and offerings are super clear.
However... That's not the difficult part. In my opinion it is too broad. You have to go niche and speak to users who need a website. I would create dummy websites about various sectors and industries (for example: restaurants, lawyers, accountants) so you can reach them and the work will speak to them directly.

Specific landing pages for different sectors is what I was thinking to handle cold outreach, ads etc – so I can speak to each directly. Great idea on creating some dummy websites though, as I don't have examples for everything yet.
