Show IH: Motif stores first-touch once, then joins the Stripe charge back to it

I built Motif because last-click kept giving the sale to the visit that closed, not the one that created the customer.

The install is three steps: create an account, paste a script tag, connect Stripe. First touch is written on arrival and is not overwritten when the same person comes back and pays. The charge lands on that channel, in the week they arrived. Ranking is arithmetic: revenue per channel. If the week is too thin for a verdict, the product stays quiet.

Free is $0 through 10k events/month. Pro is $19. Business is $149. Paid plans add a weekly insight and a custom tracking domain. They do not unlock a different ranking. Stripe only. Polar, Paddle, and Lemon Squeezy are not connected.

The how-it-works strip on the site uses made-up $99 / $1,200 numbers so you can see the shape. They are not a customer. I do not have a published install count to wave around.

I am the founder. Bias is obvious.

If you already take Stripe and run more than one channel, the question I actually want in the comments is: when a customer finally pays, which visit do you fund next month?

The strongest part is the attribution rule itself. Keeping first-touch fixed and attaching revenue to the originating channel makes the answer to “what do I fund next?” much clearer than last-click reporting.

Thanks, that is exactly the rule. Worth being clear about the limits though: the join only works for revenue that lands in Stripe, first-touch is written once and never updated, and there is no warehouse behind it, so it is one line per paying customer rather than a full model. If someone pays by invoice or switches devices before signing up, Motif will not see it.
