Show IH: ObjectRemover โ€” AI Object Removal that actually handles 50-second videos

Hey IH community ๐Ÿ‘‹

I just shipped a meaningful update to ObjectRemover.video โ€” an AI tool that lets you remove or extract objects from videos and photos using natural language.

The biggest improvement:

It now reliably handles full 50-second clips in one go (no more forced trimming to 5-10 seconds).

How it works:

- Smart preprocessing: only processes the relevant segments

- SAM3 + temporal mask analysis for accurate tracking

- Adaptive model routing (different inpainting for static vs dynamic backgrounds)

- Clean MP4 or ProRes alpha export for CapCut, Premiere Pro, and DaVinci Resolve

Quick Demo:

I wrote a technical deep-dive here:

Would love your honest feedback:

- Whatโ€™s the longest clip youโ€™ve tried removing objects from?

- Whatโ€™s your biggest pain point with current AI video tools?

Looking forward to your thoughts!

The 50-second limit is impressive, but I think the real value isn't processing longer videos.

It's reducing the number of times someone has to work around the tool. People remember software that lets them stay focused on editing instead of constantly adapting their workflow to technical limits.

      Thank you!

Really appreciate you highlighting that point.

You're spot on โ€” the real win isn't just pushing the video length limit, but removing the constant friction of splitting clips, fighting with frame-by-frame masking, or adapting your creative flow to tool restrictions.

Our goal with ObjectRemover is exactly that: give creators a tool that stays out of the way. Natural language selection + temporal consistency means you describe what you want once, and it just works across the whole clip (even with motion and camera movement). Less technical busywork, more time for actual editing and storytelling.

Would love to hear how it fits (or doesn't) into your workflow if you give it a try. Any particular pain points you're running into with current tools?

I've definitely seen that pattern, but I don't think my own workflow is the interesting part.

Your reply made me think there's one strategic decision sitting underneath that friction you're removing, and it becomes much more significant as ObjectRemover grows. I don't think I can explain the reasoning properly in a thread without oversimplifying it.

If you're interested, what's the best email to reach you on?

Thanks for sharing your thoughts โ€” I really appreciate it.

You're right, the deeper strategic layer behind removing that friction is fascinating, especially as the product scales.

I'd love to hear your perspective.Feel free to DM me on X (@jerrylee_maker) or reply here if it's something quick.

          Happy to continue the conversation!

            Appreciate that.

I think this is one of those discussions where I'd rather understand a bit more about how you're thinking before I offer a conclusion, because I don't think the reasoning is universal.

If it's easier than a long thread, what's the best email to reach you on?
